Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mike Bless is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Century Aluminum. Mr. Bless, who joined Century in January 2006, most recently served as managing director of M. Safra & Co. in New York, a private investment firm. Prior to this, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Maxtor Corporation and senior vice president and chief financial officer of Rockwell Automation, Inc.
Before joining Rockwell, Mr. Bless spent ten years as an investment banker, principally with Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., where he focused on industrial companies and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bless, who was born in 1965, is a 1987 graduate of Princeton University.
